  • Check into the hotel.
  • Dinner with Rabbi Stacy Friedman (cost not included).

DAY 3
BEARING WITNESS
Tue. Apr 2, 2024
  • 8:00 a.m. Depart the hotel for the day.
  • Travel south to Rahat, Israel's largest Bedouin town.
  • 10:00 a.m. Meet with H'ir Elbaz to discuss the unique place of Israeli Bedouins in the Israel-Hamas War and the pioneering social and educational efforts that are being made for the community.
  • Head to the site of the Nova Festival massacre near Kibbutz Re'im.
  • 3:00 p.m. Chen Kotler will accompany you at Kibbutz Kfar Aza to share the story of October Seventh - day burnt into our memories.
  • Return to Tel Aviv.
  • Processing time to talk about the day.

DAY 4
AGENTS OF CHANGE
Wed. Apr 3, 2024
  • 7:45 a.m. Depart the hotel for the day.
  • 9:00 a.m. Israeli farmers need help now more than ever. Farmers around Israel are currently serving on the front. Farm hands are not available to cover the needs. Volunteer and keep Israeli agriculture up and running. We'll be helping a local tomato farm in Beit Ezra, located near Ashdod.
  • Return to Tel Aviv.
  • 1:30 p.m. Project 24 the story of communities displaced by the Hamas attack on Israel on October 7th, 2023. Hear how how this organization is offering support to villages in the south as they are working to keep their community alive, supply meaningful outlets for youth and adults, and keep the dream of returning home alive.
  • Bring your support to Hostages Square and express your solidarity with all of Israel and ask what I can do to help. End with words of prayer.
  • Drive to Kibbutz Gezer.
  • 6:15 p.m. Spend time with Lee Seigel, brother of Keith who is still being held hostage, sister-in-law Aviva was released after 51 days. Hear their stories and learn about the work they are doing every day to ensure the safe return of their loved ones.

DAY 5
EXTENDING OUR HAND
Thu. Apr 4, 2024
  • Breakfast at the hotel, prior to our morning meeting.
  • 7:30 a.m. A Complexed Partnership, Reality of Israeli Arabs today with Reda Jaber. Director of the Aman Center — the Arab Center for a Safe Society, whose main concern attends to dealing with violence and crime in Arab society. He holds an M.A. degree in public law from the Faculty of Law at Tel-Aviv University and Northwestern University in Chicago, is currently advancing towards a PhD in public law, and is a graduate of the Mandel School for Educational Leadership. His fields of interest are public and constitutional law, policing, law enforcement, political and legal theory, secularism and traditionalism, and social and political transformations in the Arab expanse.
  • 8:40 a.m. Check out of the hotel and depart Tel Aviv.
  • 9:30 a.m. Sharing the Burden: Cook for families that have one parent in reserve duty, at Kehilat V'ahavta in Shoham led by Rabbi Rinat Tzfania.
  • 12:00 p.m. Meet with caregivers who volunteer at "Healing Space," an emergency mental health facility that was established during the war in response to the need to care for thousands of traumatized survivors of the Nova Festival.
  • Drive to Jerusalem.
  • 4:00 p.m. Visit Mount Herzl, Israel's national cemetery.
  • Check into the hotel.

  • 9:00 a.m. Meet with members of the Parents' Circle – Families Forum (PCFF), the Israeli/Palestinian Bereaved Families for Peace.
  • Spend the day in Jerusalem with Rabbi Stacy Friedman.

  • 10:00 a.m. Meet with Orly Erez-Likhovski from IRAC (Religious Action Center) in her office to learn about social justice initiatives in Israel.

  • 5 nights' accommodations. Late check out on the day of departure is included.

  • Value Added Tax is currently not applicable to tourists visiting Israel. Should the law change, you will be notified accordingly, and VAT will be added to your final invoice.

  • Validity | All prices quoted are based on exchange rates as of the proposal date and are subject to change without notice. Rates are per person and are based on shared twin room occupancy.
  • How to Make a Reservation | The quickest way to make a reservation is to register online or contact us by email. We accept VISA, MasterCard, and American Express credit cards. A non-refundable deposit of $500 is required in order to complete the registration process.
  • For any assistance with this registration process or other trip-related queries, please email Customer Care: customercare@j2adventures.com.
  • Payments | The balance of your payment is due 30 days before your trip begins, or as specified in your invoice. You will receive an email reminder before this date. Various payment options are available as follows:
    • Credit card | We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express. Please check with your credit card provider regarding international processing fees. We are unable to process payments of over $1,000 over the phone. Please submit payment online via a credit card or by wiring funds via your bank.
    • Domestic bank wire transfer | Payment should be wired in the same currency that is listed on your invoice. Please add the name of your group or invoice number as a reference and forward a copy of the transfer receipt by email. The bank transfer should clearly state the beneficiary’s name on the wire transfer.
  • J² Adventures reserves the right to automatically cancel your reservation on that date and it may be subject to reconfirmation should the final payment not be received.
  • Cancelation Policy | All cancelations need to be made in writing. The cancelation fee depends on the date when we receive written notification of your request to cancel your booking. Please note that the deposit is non-refundable.
  • Cancelation fees | Cancelations made 45 days or less prior to the departure incur the loss of 100% of the full trip cost.
  • Cancelation fees may also include: Hotel or supplier cancelation fees. J² Adventures reserves the right to adjust its terms of payment, including cancelation policies and initial deposits.
  • Mobility: Solidarity missions are specifically strenuous, and our visits include places that are inaccessible to people who may have mobility challenges. You should be in good health and able to walk reasonable distances, often over unpaved and uneven surfaces. PLEASE NOTE: In some cases you may need to run to a shelter, if you have questions regarding this matter please speak to a J² representative.
